The Marina
  • The marina at Compass Cay, located in one of the rare totally protected harbors in the Exumas, is accessible from both the Exuma Banks and the Exuma Sound through channels marked with buoys and range markers.

  • Boats with up to 6½ foot draft can enter the harbor from the Banks or from the Exuma Sound through Joe Cay Cut by following the channels marked with buoys and a range. Tucker will cheerfully guide the first time voyager into the harbor, where depths range from ten to sixteen feet.

  • The island attracts boats of all sizes and types up to the 150 foot plus mega-yachts.  The Marina has 30, 50 and 100amp electrical service, R.O. water, laundry and shower facilities.

  • A marina store has ice, beer, soda, bottled water, limited sundry and food items, clothing, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Fuel is available at Sampson Cay, 5 miles south and also at Staniel Cay, 12 miles south.

  • Marina guests are always awed by the clarity of the water, and the fact that the docks sit on top of a virtual aquarium teeming with tropical fish, grouper, snappers, hundreds of bonefish, and Tucker's pet nurse sharks.

  • Hamburgers and Hot dogs are served for lunch during season.

  • Around cocktail time, marina guests congregate under the covered patio beside the marina office to "unwind". Pot luck dinners generally occur on a weekly basis.

  • Tucker invites you to stay the week or stay the season!
